You will need internet connection, a device (smartphone, tablet or computer) with audio and video capabilities, please test the audio and video prior to your virtual appointment to ensure you can join successfully. You can connect to your visit on the web by logging in to your HIPPA compliant patient portal or via link that was sent to you after you booked your appointment.
Please complete all consents and forms prior to your appointment. If not completed prior to your visit your appointment could be rescheduled. **Please note these forms can take time, this is so we can have a full understanding of your healthcare needs and goals.
Appointment cancellation and reschedules must be made within 48hrs of your appointment time. If over 48 hrs, prepayment is non-refundable.

Appointments are not a guarantee of medication therapy. Appointments are non-refundable. If a patient decides to discontinue treatment after it has been started, a refund will not be given. Individual circumstances may be discussed with the clinician. There are no refunds or returns for our services.
Appointment will be cancelled if over 15 mins late for scheduled visit. If over 15 mins late, prepayment is non-refundable.
Once you schedule your appointment, a prepayment of your full visit is required.
For a full refund please cancel or reschedule your visit within 48 hrs of your scheduled visit. Please allow 7-10 business days for your credit card company to issue a refund.
Appointment times can vary, it could take longer depending on the type of visit. Healthy KC is here to make sure we are meeting the needs of our patients.
Where do I go? We are contracted with Labcorp. If lab test are ordered, your clinician will send an electronic lab order to Labcorp, you must schedule your lab appointment with Labcorp.
How to get prescriptions? We can send prescriptions electronically to your local pharmacy permitting your pharmacy allows electronic prescriptions.
Please make sure to list all current medications so that the clinician is aware of the medications that you are taking.
Healthy KC does not prescribe controlled substances.
Please contact you insurance health plan to determine if you are able to use your HSA/FSA benefits towards your services with us.
Healthy KC recognizes that some illnesses/ injuries may need in-person evaluation. Your clinician may direct you to visit your local Urgent Care or Emergency Room. If you are experiencing a medical emergency please call 911.
Please note that under Medicare and Medicaid guidelines Healthy KC cannot provide medical treatment, even when paying for cash services.
Prior Authorizations are requested by your insurance company to determine if a medication or service is covered. Healthy KC will submit a Prior Authorization on your behalf. Healthy KC has 48-72 business hours from the request date to start the prior authorization process. Please allow 2-4 weeks to get a decision from your insurance company. Completing a Prior Authorization is NOT a guarantee that your insurance will cover the medication or lab services.
